The Spring Rose Show is past.  The attendance this year was down but still viewed as a success.  The day's competing activities probably held down the public viewing.  There were about 100,oo0 people at the airport for the Air Show and the Parkway East was closed in one direction.  These two events alone would have dissuaded all but the most loyal rose lovers from coming to the North Shore.  We had 214 entries at the show.  This is light but presented a nice display.  There will soon be more images from the show on this site.  The winners are posted and you can access this page from the link on the Home Page. You can still buy the mini roses.  The next best opportunity will be at the Mt. Lebanon Library Garden Tour on Sunday July 15.  Dolores Howley will be representing the Society and answering rose questions as well as selling the roses and Bidwell orchids.  Hope to see you there.
